WheelBill for Android

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 August 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the WheelBill mobile application (the “App”), package name com.wheelbill.app, published by Konstantin Ovtsinnikov (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Overview

WheelBill is a vehicle expense tracking application. It helps users record and calculate vehicle-related costs, including fuel or charging, insurance, taxes, parking, repairs, maintenance, loans, fines, and other costs. The App does not require registration and does not create a WheelBill user account.

Local-first: vehicle and expense records entered into WheelBill are stored locally on the user’s device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores those records.

2. Information entered by the user

The App allows users to enter information such as:

This information is processed locally to provide the App’s functions. It is not transmitted to us. A PDF report is generated or shared only when the user initiates that action and chooses a destination through Android.

3. Advertising and information processed by Google

WheelBill uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to display advertising. Subject to the user’s region, device settings, consent choices, and Google’s policies, the SDK may automatically collect or share:

Google may use this information to provide advertising, measure advertising and App performance, perform analytics, prevent fraud, and maintain security and compliance. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

More information is available in Google’s Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Consent and privacy choices

Where required, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, WheelBill uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent relating to advertising. Depending on the user’s choices, Google may provide personalized or non-personalized advertising, or otherwise limit data processing in accordance with applicable requirements.

When required for the user’s region, advertising privacy choices can be reviewed from the Privacy choices control inside the App. Users may also manage the Android advertising ID and other privacy settings in their device settings.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell the vehicle, expense, service, or note data entered into WheelBill, and we do not receive that data on our servers. Information automatically processed by Google through the Mobile Ads SDK may be shared with Google and its advertising partners as described in Google’s policies and the user’s consent choices.

6. Retention and deletion

Because WheelBill records are stored locally, we do not retain them on a WheelBill server. Users can remove individual records using the App’s controls. Local App data can also be removed through Android’s “Clear storage” function or by uninstalling the App.

Information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s own policies and applicable legal requirements. WheelBill cannot directly access or delete information held by Google.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the App’s local-first design. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device and any PDF reports they choose to export or share.

8. Children’s privacy

WheelBill is a vehicle expense application intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, contact us.

9. International processing

Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence. Google describes its international data transfer safeguards in its privacy documentation.

10. This website

The WheelBill developer website is a static informational website. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, registration forms, or a WheelBill tracking system. The hosting provider may process basic technical request information necessary to securely deliver the website.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The current version and effective date will always be published on this page.
